Karley is the working hands behind Particular, a wild-harvest supplier serving fine dining kitchens in the Bay Area.

Raised between New Jersey (The Garden State) and her family's farm in West Virginia, she grew up catching crawdads and gathering ramps from the stream behind the farm — learning early that food begins long before a kitchen.

With degrees in microbiology and chemistry her work is grounded as much in science as it is in instinct. She began her career in coffee, studying production and roasting theories before entering the fine dining world through Sorrel and Lazy Bear.

After years in service and a period managing an aquaponic farm in Half Moon Bay, she returned fully to her roots.

Every ingredient is harvested deliberately, documented daily, and delivered before service. The work is exacting. The standard is non-negotiable.
